Helpful Hints for Using Healthy Herd

Animals will not immediately respond to something new. We have reports that it could take up to 3 weeks to accept the new addition to the feed.

Start with smaller amounts (up to 1/2 of the recommended amount) especially when setting up and trying pumps out. Running several 5 seconds test will accumulate a lot of Healthy Herd. This large amount may intimidate animals and cause them to be more cautious than normal. Always give the animals a little time, to "get used" to anything new.

Always store Healthy Herd in cool places and out of direct sunlight.

The best time to start a worming/mineral program is after the last day of your season and stop at least 45 days before harvest. The sooner you start removing parasites, the better.
